Worthy of Upworthy: Juliet’s Participation in a NYC Ballet Workshop

Juliet, a rising sixth grader with a love of dance that transcends her ataxic cerebral palsy, is a featured NYC Ballet student.

Along with eighteen other growing dancers, Juliet dances with and learns from some of New York’s most talented dancers in an ongoing workshop the NYC Ballet developed for dancers with disabilities.  Read about Juliet and a wonderfully successful program running at the NYC Ballet, www.upworthy.com/a-mom-wrote-a-letter-to-the-nyc-ballet-about-her-daughters-disability-they-responded-gracefully.   You’ll discover how dance and the workshop offer Juliet the opportunity to “just let it go and feel the rhythm”, as she so aptly states.

Juliet also dances with Dance Innovations in Chatham.  She considers her dancing to be one of the best parts of her life.  A beautiful dancer, Juliet is also a charming, poised speaker who shines in front of a camera as you will see.

Congratulations to Juliet for her dance, and her interview!  And thank you to Juliet, her parents, and the NYC Ballet for reminding us of the value of doing what you love.
