Marjorie Wormser, OT

Marjorie is a New Jersey Licensed Occupational Therapist who is SIPT certified (Sensory Integration and Praxis) and school certified in the State of New Jersey.

Marjorie provides OT assessment and treatment strategies for children from birth through age 12, including music programs and adapted Renaissance Fairs.

Marjorie provides Early Intervention Occupational Therapy in Morris and Somerset Counties. She has worked in a variety of NJ school settings (public, private, out-of-district, after-school clinic, and extended school year). She has also treated adolescents with psycho-social dysfunction. Marjorie collaborates with Speech Language Pathologists, Special Educators, Behaviorists, and Physical Therapists on behalf of children and their families.

Marjorie graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in occupational therapy, with post graduate clinical work in Philadelphia and San Francisco Bay Area. She completed Masters Level course work at Columbia University Teacher’s College and University of Southern California. Marjorie trained with St. Joseph’s Medical Center in the treatment of feeding disorders. Marjorie provides clinical supervision to OT students for their Masters Level 1 Fieldwork.

Away from work, Marjorie practices yoga and QiGong, participates in drumming circles, and performs vocal music in a variety of genres. She is an avid photographer and a budding historic preservationist.
