Dolly Casas

Dolly is currently a senior at Rutgers University New Brunswick and is majoring in Biology and Public Health. She has been interested in medicine and global health for a long time. She has volunteered at the Jersey City Medical Center; assisting patients, nurses, and doctors as needed. Dolly also attended a Public Health service learning training in West Virginia, working with patients with black lung disease because of the exposure to coal. Dolly’s practical experiences and her undergraduate studies will help to attain her goal of gaining a better understanding of healthcare in the United States and worldwide. Also, these experiences reaffirm her passion towards medicine, research, and global health. Her goal is to continue learning and gaining more knowledge in the medical field in order to accomplish her long-term career goal of being a physician, and one day providing quality healthcare to a community.
